Las Vegas will host the Formula 1 race for the first time on the weekend after Thanksgiving 2023.
Thanksgiving is celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November. Formula 1 leaders have been in contact with Las Vegas and the state of Nevada for a long time, and an official announcement should follow in the coming weeks.
It will be the third track on which the Formula 1 race will be run in the USA, after Austin and Miami.
F1 plans to award the fourth race to the United States, but the leaders of the most popular motorsport would also like to have one race in Africa, the only continent where the race is not run. Las Vegas already hosted the Formula 1 race between 1981 and 1984.
