The Manchester United forward has reportedly held crisis talks at Old Trafford.
Paris Saint-Germain is planning a bid to transfer Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United to France to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to leave the club.
When Mbappe looked set to join Real Madrid last summer, PSG were reported to be interested in a move for the Portugal captain. With Mbappe’s contract expiring in the French capital and Ronaldo’s animosity with United interim manager Ralf Rangnick, that move may happen.
PSG would be Ronaldo’s most likely destination if he wanted to leave Old Trafford less than a year after returning to his previous club. Ronaldo has never played in the French league before.
For the first time, he’d join forces with Lionel Messi, making a combo of two all-time greats a real possibility.
It all depends on Mbappe leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season with his eyes set on Real Madrid.
He’ll be hoping that a move to Madrid will allow him to reach the same heights as Ronaldo did during his time with Los Blancos.
