Four Visits, 13 Goals: Bournemouth Beat United 3–0 Again

Bournemouth won 3–0 at Manchester United on October 25, 2026, adding another emphatic result to an unusual sequence at Old Trafford. Their last four Premier League visits to the Manchester ground have now produced three victories, one draw and 13 goals for the away side.

The four scorelines, viewed from Bournemouth’s perspective, are 3–0, 3–0, 4–4 and 3–0. Sunday’s win restored a familiar winning margin after last season’s eight-goal draw. Bournemouth have scored at least three times on every one of those four league trips.

A pattern built across four seasons

The sequence began in December 2023, when Bournemouth won 3–0, as recorded in Sky Sports’ contemporary match report. A year later, they returned and won by exactly the same score, giving United another afternoon without a goal against these visitors.

Reuters’ report of the December 2024 meeting confirms that second 3–0 victory. The repetition is part of what makes the latest result stand out: three separate trips have now ended with Bournemouth scoring three times while keeping United off the scoresheet.

The exception was December 15, 2025. The Premier League’s official account of the 4–4 draw describes a match that swung repeatedly before substitute Junior Kroupi equalised for Bournemouth. They scored even more goals than on the previous two visits, but took only one point.

Add Sunday’s result and the four visits yield 10 points from a possible 12. The goals total is 13 for Bournemouth and four for United, with three clean sheets. That is an average of 3.25 Bournemouth goals per visit across this particular four-game sequence.

How the latest three arrived

United’s official match report records Rayan, Marcus Tavernier and Evanilson as the scorers. Rayan opened the scoring in the 38th minute, meeting Justin Kluivert’s free-kick at the far post. Tavernier doubled the lead before halftime, finishing after Adrien Truffert capitalised on Leny Yoro’s slip.

Sky’s report of Sunday’s game confirms the two-goal halftime advantage. Bournemouth then had an Evanilson effort ruled out for offside shortly after the restart, so the score remained 2–0 rather than becoming three immediately.

The third valid goal arrived in the 71st minute. As Opta Analyst’s match account describes, Lewis Cook’s long pass sent Evanilson after the ball. He reached it ahead of goalkeeper Senne Lammens and finished into the unguarded goal from the right.

That completed another 3–0 away victory and preserved the scoring pattern. The sequence concerns Bournemouth’s league visits to Old Trafford specifically: across those four matches, even the day they failed to win still brought four goals.
